Abstract
Equations for the thermodynamic spinodal and the kinetic boundary of the region of metastable states (physical spinodal) in vicinity of the critical point are given. These equations are based on the asymmetric scaled equation of state and the theory of relaxation of metastable states. The results of numerical calculations of binodal, thermodynamic, and physical spinodal, as well as the behavior of isochoric heat capacity and isothermal compressibility in the metastable region for water are presented. Keywords
