Abstract
General descriptions of the history, construction, and operation of the MURA 50-MeV electron accelerator are given. In its operation, this accelerator has been used to stack large circulating currents of accelerated particles and to investigate multiturn injection, acceleration processes, resonant effects, and collective instabilities. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
