Abstract
We point out that a certain state (e.g., ) of ΛΛ¯ bound system is rather narrow and can be a good candidate of ξ(2.23). By using the quark-pair-creation model, we also study the decay widths of higher excited quarkonium states. We conclude that none of the quarkonium states is a likely candidate of ξ(2.23).
