Cerebellopontine Meningiomas and the Temporal Bone

Abstract
Two cases of cerebellopontine angle meningiomas were studied both clinically and histopathologically. Symptoms and signs were typical; there was loss of balance, spontaneous nystagmus, hearing loss (neural type), and diminished corneal reflexes. Radiological examinations provided the most important clue to diagnosis in these cases. All clinical, audiological, and vestibular examinations were performed as a battery to acquire sufficient information for diagnosis and follow-up of the disease process.
