Abstract
The modified Glauber approximation along with the optical theorem has been employed to obtain total collisional cross sections for the scattering of positrons and electrons by Li atoms from 20-1000 eV. The single-particle scattering model is found to be a good method for a quick estimation of the total collisional cross sections. Keywords
