Incubation of White Leghorn cockerel adrenals in Krebs-Ringer bicarbonate led to the identification of corticosterone and aldosterone, and the tentative identification of small amounts of cortisol. Several additional steroids present have not been identified. Corticosterone was the principal steroid obtained. Keywords
