Abstract
Groups of 5 cows each were given (1) no grain, (2) 0.1 lb. grain per pound of milk above 20 for Holsteins or 0.125 lb. per pound above 12 for Jerseys and (3) double this amount, with once-a-day and twice-a-day harvesting of soilage. Harvest schedule had no significant effect on milk production; however, milk production was significantly greater on the higher grain allowance. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
