Abstract
The two interspersed series of resonances experimentally observed in - scattering at 11-13 eV are identified as (series I) and (series II), both in the configuration . This interpretation leads to a natural explanation that series I is strong while series II is weak in the and in the channels, and that the two series are equally strong in the channel. Angular distributions for these resonances are computed and compared with experiment. Some old expressions are corrected, and new expressions are given for decay into the channel.
