Abstract
Several continuous-flow manifolds were developed in order to implement the photochemical reaction between ascorbic acid and Methylene Blue. Each design has special features that make it suitable for a specific application. The reaction was carried out in the reactor coil or flow cell depending on which region was irradiated. The analyte was determined at the microgram per millilitre level, with relative standard deviations ranging from 1.8 to 5.0%. Various types of samples were analysed using the proposed methodology. Keywords
