Abstract
Magnetic interactions for mixed atomic configurations are given in tensor notation. These results are obtained by expanding in powers of () the equivalent operators for the Breit equation. An operator is obtained which has angular dependence unlike that of any operator appearing in the equivalent electron case. The particular case of interactions within configuration is discussed.
