Abstract
The linkage relationships of the genes for DDT-resistance and dieldrin-resistance with visible mutant markers have been studied in Aedes aegypti by means of test-crosses and diagnostic dosages. The genes DDT and Dieldrin are located in linkage-group 2 at a crossover distance of 1 to 4% in strains from Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and Curacao. The order of the genes in linkage-group 2 are spot-yellow-black-pedicel-Gold-Dieldrin-DDT, while black-tarsi and black-palp are located in linkage-group 3 at a crossover distance of 5%.Keywords
