Abstract
The a.c. susceptibility of the quasi-1D mixed compound C6H 11NH3Cu1-xMnxCl 3 (CHAC : Mn) exhibits at Tmax a frequency dependent maximum. Remanence effects on the magnetization appear below Tmax. The variations with field, time and temperature of the thermoremanent and isothermal remanent magnetizations are similar to those observed in classical spin glasses. These measurements suggest spin glass-like behaviour in linear chains with random exchange at very low impurity concentrationKeywords
