Abstract
The Clinical Picture of Disease in the AgedA frequent remark of the uninitiated is, "Why bother with old people? There is nothing to do for them!" Such an attitude implies not only lack of familiarity with the possibilities of modern medicine but also, more importantly, a complete misunderstanding of the role of the physician, whose ability is put to the supreme test in supporting men and women in their journey through the valley of the shadow of death.
