Abstract
The novel metabolite (R)-3-hydroxy-5(Z)-octenyl β-D-glucopyranoside 5 was isolated from Malus sylvestris fruits cv. Peau de Chien by adsorption on Amberlite XAD-2 resin and its structure was elucidated by spectral analysis. (R)-3-hydroxyoctyl β-D-glucopyranoside 3 and vomifoliol β-D-glucopyranoside 4 were also isolated. Keywords
