Abstract
The reaction of [{PtMe2(µ-SMe2)}2] with the bifunctional imines (C6F5)CHNCH2(2-XC6H4)(X = H, Cl and Br) leads to selective activation of the carbon–fluorine bond even in the presence of the weaker carbon–hydrogen, –chlorine and –bromine bonds.Keywords
