Abstract
Typhlodromus pini Chant and its closest relatives have previously been aligned with Typhlodromus conspicuus Garman and Typhloseiopsis theodoliticus DeLeon, based solely on dorsal shield setal pattern. Several generic names have been assigned to members of this group. Detailed evaluation of multiple morphological characters dissociates T. pini and its relatives from both conspicuus and theodoliticus and shows it to have closer affinity with T. mcgregori Chant and its relatives. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
