Abstract
An atomistic model of a dislocation, in which the scattering properties of each atom were described by a screened pseudopotential, was used to calculate the dislocation resistivity of aluminium. A value of 2.7*10-25 Omega m3 was obtained, in good agreement with experiment. Keywords
