Abstract
The effective-gluon (EG) model of high- inclusive scattering is compared to recently published Fermilab data. The EG model is shown to describe accurately the observed features of the data for the production of , , , , and . Features of the model which are independent of the exact nature of the quark distribution and decay functions are discussed.
