Abstract
A sodium iodide scintillation spectrometer has been used to study the gamma radiation produced when is bombarded by protons. The following gamma rays have been found: a 432-kev gamma ray from the reaction, a 718-kev gamma ray from inelastic scattering in , and a high-energy gamma ray from the reaction Excitation curves and cross sections for these gamma rays are given.
