Critical-Temperature and Coexistence-Curve Measurements in Thick Films

Abstract
We report the first observation of a critical-temperature and coexistence-curve dependence on film thickness for a binary fluid mixture (methanol-cyclohexane). The data suggest long-range interactions with mean-field exponent for film thicknesses, , in the range .
