A FURTHER REPORT ON THE TREATMENT OF ADDISON'S DISEASE WITH DESOXYCORTICOSTERONE ACETATE BY INTRAMUSCULAR INJECTIONS, SUBCUTANEOUS IMPLANTATION OF PELLETS, AND SUBLINGUAL ADMINISTRATION

Abstract
Eight patients with Addison''s disease were treated with desoxycorticosterone acetate by intramuscular injections, implantation of pellets, and in several instances the sublingual preparation of desoxycorticosterone acetate in propylene glycol. The advantages and limitations of the intramusc. inj. and the pellet implantation are pointed out.
