Abstract
A six‐year‐old black male presented to the Otolaryngology service with fever, sore throat and an inflammatory mass in the left neck. Forty‐eight hours later he developed the full blown clinical picture of mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome (MLNS). This is a relatively new clinical entity, well known in Japan, but only recently described in the English literature. The following case report and discussion will serve to alert the otolaryngologist to this disease. Keywords
