Abstract
Summary A flocculation test utilizing polysaccharide-coated bentonite particles is described. The conditions for coating the particles and performance of the test are reported. The method offers advantages such as simplicity, reproducibility, stability and specificity. A number of polysaccharide antigens, which fail to coat erythrocytes, readily adsorb onto bentonite, permitting serologic tests with these antigens. Keywords
