Abstract

The two-body decays of the "old" and the "new" mesons are studied in a broken SU(4) scheme. The scheme succeeds in suppressing

Γ (ψ \to η_{c} γ)

. Sum rules among amplitudes are derived to support

Γ (ρ \to π γ) ≃ 75

keV.
