Abstract
An account is given of embryonic development in the Gamasida including details of cleavage and gastrulation, and early, prelarval and larval morphogenesis. The specialized development of the Spinturnicidae is compared with that of other gamasids. A non-larval, trinymphal development with substantial embryonization of the early stages is considered to be characteristic of the Gamasida. Keywords
