Abstract
We report several new high‐power stable modes of operation of the argon laser. These types of operation are characteristic of the laser itself; no mode‐selecting techniques are used. We have observed output powers of 2 W with up to 90% of the power in a single optical frequency, as well as several other new stable output spectra. Keywords
