Abstract
A simple modification to a conventional single coil pulsed NMR spectrometer is described which damps the final stage of the transmitter at low rf levels. For an unmodified Bruker SXP spectrometer a receiver recovery time of 7.7 μsec is obtained at 60 MHz; this time improves to 5.5 μsec on adding the ’’low level damper.’’Keywords
