Abstract
The single i.v. administration of T-2 toxin to calves at 0.25 mg/kg body wt produced statistically significant decreases in plasma activity of factors VII, IX, X and XI and in fibrinogen values (P < 0.05). Similar changes in the coagulation factors were observed after the single i.v. administration of T-2 toxin to calves which were given vitamin K (25 mg daily) for 5 days before and after dosing with T-2 toxin. The procoagulant activity of factor VIII was unaffected by T-2 toxin administration to calves. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
