π±Absorption and the Distribution of Neutrons in Nuclei

Abstract
Optical-model calculations have been made of the sensitivity of the ratio of absorption cross sections to the neutron-density distribution. Ratios accurate to a few tenths of 1% should be useful in determining neutron-density parameters.
