Abstract
Cathepsin is a liver proteinase. The methods of prep. of the Hb, and of the substrate, were presented. The unit of cathepsin action (C.U.)Hb was defined as the production per min., at 37[degree] C in 6 ml. of digestion mixture, of an amt. of color-producing substance not precipitable by trichloracetic acid which gave the same color as 1 millequivalent of tyrosine. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
