Abstract
In the framework of the eikonal picture, the Glauber expression for the scattering amplitude is extended to the whole angular domain and to intermediate and even low energies (under some restrictions on the scattering potential) in the context of light scattering by large particles. Differential cross sections illustrate clearly the difference between Glauber's results and those given here. Keywords
