Abstract
An abnormal cell, designated as a V-cell, has been observed in the peripheral blood of mice beginning about 14 days after inoculation of murine leukemogenic (Rauscher) virus. These V-cells are usually accompanied by characteristic extracellular cytoplasmic masses, which have also been described in a mouse leukemia induced by Friend virus. Developmental forms of the cell are described and its possible viral etiology discussed. Keywords
