Abstract
The results of experiments by S. C. Glauser and R. E. Forster to determine the magnitude of the Bohr effect at high O2 tensions are revaluated. When a correction is applied for the small changes of saturation which occur in these experiments, it is found that the reduction of the Bohr effect is considerably less than was claimed by Glauser and Forster. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
