Abstract
We propose an analytical model for the determination of the electrical characteristics (resonant frequency, input impedance) of probe‐fed printed antennas with radiating element of various form. This model is original and is easily included in CAD system. The theoretical results are in good agreement with the experiments and with rigorous theoretical models. We make use of computer algebra to compute the uncertainty of the calculated values, i.e., the sensitivity to the physical and geometrical parameters. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.Keywords
