Abstract
Superconducting Y-Ba-Cu-O thick films were prepared on ysz substrates by the screen-printing technique. The thick films which were sintered under flowing helium and then annealed in oxygen showed relatively high Jc values ( approximately 600 A cm-2 at 77 K in zero magnetic field) over a sintering temperature range from 920 to 960 degrees C. This Jc value is approximately six times as large as that of the film prepared in flowing oxygen. Keywords
