Abstract
Presentation of CaseA two-and-a-half-year-old boy was admitted to the hospital because of precocious puberty.He was born after a seven-and-a-half-month gestation; delivery was by cesarean section because of a placenta praevia. The birth weight was 4 pounds, 2 ounces. The infant was always muscular and stocky, with a deep voice. Physical examination twenty months before entry showed bilateral cryptorchidism, but by the age of two years the testes were in the scrotum. During the six months before entry the voice deepened.
