Abstract
The probability distributions for the electric-field strength, containing the full information on higher-order squeezing, are studied for special squeezed fields occurring in the k-photon Jaynes-Cummings model. Small modifications of the probability distributions at the wings may substantially alter the higher-order squeezing effects. Keywords
