Abstract
Assuming a single Slater determinant for the many-particle eigenfunction, an exact numerical solution for a chain of 60 molecules containing soliton states has been derived to study the electron correlation and disorder effect when both regular and stereo-irregular dimerised chains are considered. A profound influence due to the electron interaction is clearly demonstrated. Keywords
