Abstract
Distal muscular atrophies and paresthesias occurring secondary to hyper-insulinism are reported in 20 patients with pancreatic adenoma. Similar findings have been reported as occurring following injection of excessive amounts of insulin. It is suggested that in diabetic patients hyperinsulinism may account for some of the so-called diabetic neuropathies. Keywords
