Abstract
This review focuses on the actual limits of the clinical pharmacology of drugs used for the treatment of orthostatic hypotension. The evidences for heterogeneity of the pathophysiological mechanisms of primary orthostatic hypotension and autonomic failure are discussed. The available data on the efficacy of some drugs used in orthostatic hypotension are also discussed. Keywords
