Abstract
A pulsed power supply for a 450 W xenon arc lamp has been constructed that yields an intense 0.1–10 msec duration square wave flash of light. When combined with an auto-offset device the resulting system provides an intense monochromatic sampling beam for the detection of submicrosecond chemical relaxations in an electric field jump cell. Keywords
