Abstract
Photoluminescence of cis-(CH) x is observed at around 640 nm and 900 nm. But both emissions disappear after the isomerization to trans-(CH) x by heat treatment. The excitation spectrum of 900 nm emission has the maximum at around 800 nm, which nearly coincides with the absorption edge of trans-(CH) x . Temperature dependences of these emission spectra are also investigated. Keywords
