Abstract
An explanation of the puzzling temperature dependent intensity behavior observed in the T 1ρ data for isotropic FEP polymer is put forth in a simple model invoking spin diffusion between crystalline and amorphous phases. In order to explain similar data from fibers of FEP a more detailed model of a different morphology is proposed in which the interfacial geometry plays an important role. It appears that the morphological history of the samples is an important factor in the explanation of the observed relaxation behavior. Keywords
