Abstract
We have observed and production in a 10-event/μb experiment at 9 GeV/c. The has a mass of 1769 ± 12 MeV and a width of 132 ± 50 MeV and the has a mass of 2115 ± 46 MeV and a width of 300 ± 200 MeV. Branching ratios for decay into various final states are presented and evidence for decay into two, three, and four scalar mesons is presented. The spin-parity of the is found to be . The is compatible with a assignment.
