Photoinduced 2p Auger spectra of atomic aluminium

Abstract
Auger spectra of atomic aluminium caused by 2p photoionisation have been measured at selected photon energies. The information obtained from these spectra together with information from the photoelectron spectra (initial state of the Auger transitions) and from optical data (for the final states of the Auger transitions) provided the basis for the classification of practically all observed Auger lines.
