Abstract
A laser Doppler technique has been used to measure the velocity of a 'falling-slug' in a high pressure viscometer. From this data the viscosity of two polyisobutenes, Mn approximately=400, Mn approximately=700 have been determined as a function of pressure. Viscosities in excess of 107 Pa s have been determined by this method. Keywords
