Abstract
A modified high-energy extrapolation of the experimental reflection curve in Kramers-Kronig analysis is proposed. The method for determining the extrapolation error is described in detail and applied to the experimental data for GaTe. The algorithm proposed for extension of the experimental ellipsometric data for GaAs to a wider energy range is also used. Keywords
