Abstract
A comparison of septation in Nocardia rubra and Jensenia canicruria was made using the light and electron microscopes. The observed septation was found to be identical in both organisms. On this basis the authors suggested that septation was not a valid criterion for the differentiation of the genus Nocardia from Jensenia. Keywords
