Abstract
Sixty-seven salmonids and coregonids (32 Salvelinus fontinalis, 3 Salmo salar, 22 Salmo trutta, 10 Coregonus clupeaformis), caught at various locations on the Avalon Peninsula, Newfoundland, were examined for metazoan parasites, during the period November 15, 1968–June 12, 1969. Eight genera of helminths (two of Monogenea, three of Digenea, one each of Cestoda, Nematoda, Acanthocephala) and one of parasitic copepods (Ergasilus) were recovered. This number includes one new host record and two new host records for Newfoundland. Keywords
