Abstract
Polycrystalline tri-glycine sulphate, selenate and solid solutions of the two have been prepared. Finely-divided powders have been obtained by freeze-drying solutions in water and bulk ceramic samples formed from these by compressing the powder. Thin layers (10–40 μm) have also been prepared from these powders. The properties of these materials are described, with particular reference to their application as pyroelectric detectorsKeywords
